Times been a movin' slow...

Well, what can I say? Not much to report. I've been pretty tired lately after work and I don't have the ambition to do much of anything when I get home. I suppose that's kind of the way it goes for teachers around this time of year. The time between winter break and spring break doesn't seem so long, and when I first came back I thought, this will be a breeze! However, this week especially has been tiring. I've now lost three students, gained one more, and two tell me they're leaving soon (confirmed with parents). It's very strange the sort of "turnover" that seems to occur out here. It's very difficult to maintain continuity.

I met with four other ladies from work on Wednesday to discuss a bible study! It was great meeting with them and we've planned to meet every other Wednesday. I am very excited to participate in a bible study again and at the same time, get to know more people. Nothing will compare, I'm sure, to my first study group...I really miss you guys!

Dave's work continues to be sporadic. Busy one day, frustratingly slow the next. But we're both carrying on and gearing up for the Super Bowl next weekend. Go Colts!

  1. Jamie and Dave,
It sounds like you both are settling in to the Azizon life. Even through the struggles you're doing your best to over come! So glad to hear that you are starting up a Bible study again. So important to keep in God's word. Unlce Steve and I are doing one on Romans and wow is soooo good! God's love for his people is amazing. Keep strong and daily ask for God's guidance. Praying for you both
    Love,
    Aunt Ruth

  2. Hi Jaime! I'm so excited to hear that you are going to be doing another bible study! Way to go Jaime. I don't know if you heard already or not but Melissa had her baby! I have a couple of pictures of her on my computer at home so if you want me to i can e-mail them to you. Take care and keep on teaching!

  3. Thanks Aunt Ruth and Beth! Lynda wrote me a letter and Melissa mailed an announcement to me...so cute! I'm really excited about this group. There are a lot of different backgrounds and it should be interesting. The study we will be doing first is called The Purple Book. It's foundations study and we all agreed that especially for a newly formed group it will be good to go back to basics. I got my purple yesterday and I think I'll start it tomorrow! I'll keep you updated on how it's going. Take care!
